Iris is known for being a kind-hearted and caring hedgehog. However, she can be stubborn when something doesn't go her way. She has a cheerful and sweet personality, but her naiveté and being the rarest animal often leads to her kidnapping by enemies. Though others who have not known her long, she has a side to be also a sassy, spunky, feisty, and energetic tomboy. She also has a temper, and will become enraged and fire spreads from her hands to her body. Iris has always been drawn to adventure and live freely like Sonic, so she aspired to train with the help of Sonic and friends. In addition, she also has a passion in drawing as she sometimes carries out a sketchpad and a mechanical pencil.
